BLACK LIGHT MUTANTS LYRICS
"The Villain"
[Spoken:]
I woke up this morning on the wrong side of my fragile head, The 3 minute warning was still ringing from my bed, They say its a danger to dream of big brother, And awaken from the dreams of proving a lover, I arise to a misty Old England scene, with panicking friends and frightened teens, Was the party ready to drop its bomb, Or did their computers just go wrong, I'm wondering about the systems agenda, As the tele screen provides its propaganda, I am the callow, in a drugged up hive, Cast out, half made up into this world alive, I drag my lifeless carcass into another day, Of painting by number shit for this wage, Catch the train into the same routine, Go to the places that I've already been, Greet another member of public as a replica of a perfect worker, On train lines I casually pass plenty passing observer, They are fooled into thinking they have instrumented choice, Say wow I'm an individual, but they use anothers voice, Keeping up the paperwork, Keeping up the party line, tele screen telling them that all is fine. I try to scream in their face but they won't listen, Their glassy eyes glisten, they know no difference, Sometimes I feel like I'm a minority of one, But that doesn't make my ideas for a better place wrong...
