But soon the brotherhood begins to crumble
Yielding the whispered names of guilty parties
The sovereign state fails to bring charges of any kind
Jim Crow takes the courtroom on a three year ride
Judicial indifference the standard of the time
When optimism is met with murder
A mission of hope falls to violence
The fight for progress meets resistance
Still the movement won’t be silenced
