I will never submit to a label, buy into a fad,
admit I'm unable to form my beliefs independent of dogma
I will trust my-self this time

I choose to drink and smoke, I choose to fucking choke
before I form my ideology after an inside joke
it's all the same to me - unconformity
whether it be pop-culture, the straight-edge scene, or anarchy

it just seems fucking stupid to swallow the hollow ideals,
the words that you follow like a fundamentalist,
strung out on sufferance I will trust myself this time
